Capsule Endoscopy is coming to the stomach

In the U.S. more than 25k people are being diagnosed for gastric cancer each year and over 40% of them will die from the disease, according to the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).

Since 90% are adenocarcinomas, a gastroscopy is highly accurate in detecting them. By using a magnetically controlled capsule endoscope, comparable results can be achieved without sedation or other discomfort to the patient.
